FAQs

  • The manual says the Nominal Input Voltage is 100-240VAC (100-120VAC only for UL458). Which is the nominal input voltage?
The product can accept 100-264V. The 100-120V shown in the manual and on the battery charger label is the UL certification range. The UL label on the battery charger does not show the full range of 100-264V, because there is not a UL certification available for the full AC range of the Cotek CX24 Series Battery Charger. Keep in mind, that since this is a single-phase product and not split-phase, you cannot connect 2 x 120V hot leads in the AC input to achieve 240V. Doing so will damage the unit and void your warranty. Instead, use 1 x 240 hot, 1 x neutral, and 1 x ground into the AC input.
  • What type of wire ends do you need to interface with the output terminals?
Since they are screw terminals, you can use either bare end wire or ring terminals.
