  No, you cannot pair the CLASSIC Charge Controller with the new DIY inverters, so that they talk to each other. However, the DIY inverter and the CLASSIC can be on the same battery bank as long as each has its own solar array input.
• Are the DIY Series inverter/chargers stackable?
  No, the DIY Series inverter/chargers are not stackable.
• Can I connect a generator only to the MidNite Solar MN5048DIY without solar panels?
  Yes, you can connect a generator only and without the solar panels to the MidNite Solar MN5048DIY.

  Yes. By turning the inverter on/off rocker switch, the inverter will not invert power, but will still draw a minimum amount of power to charge your batteries. You do not need to disconnect the AC loads.
• What is the difference between the Max PV Input Voltage and the MPPT Voltage Range?
  The MPPT Voltage Range is the range at which tracking will be applied to optimize power conversion. At the Max PV Input Voltage, tracking is not really necessary since it is already converting at maximum capacity.

  No, the MidNite Solar DIY inverters are not ground bonded inside.
• Do they DIY inverters have a battery-less mode?
  No. Although the manual may make some mention of a battery-less mode, the MidNite Solar DIY inverters are battery-based inverters and require a battery bank to operate.
