Will the MidNite Solar CLASSIC and SL Charge Controllers pick up ground faults in the solar panel wiring?
Yes, the MidNite Solar CLASSIC and SL solar controllers will pick up grounds faults in the solar panel wiring. It detects positive current on the ground side. If one of the solar panels is throwing a reverse current, the CLASSIC will see that. In other words, ground fault detection will not stop at the solar connectors.
