The Cotek TR-40 is a "transfer switch" or "AC Bypass" designed to work with the Cotek SP Series line of inverters. It provides up to 40 amps of high-speed switching between the grid and AC output of the power inverter. In other words, it will allow you to run loads using AC input/grid power. When AC input/grid power is lost, the inverter will automatically switch to power loads from your DC power source.
