Description

Tigo TS4-A-2F PV Module-level Rapid Shutdown for Two Modules 15A (Imp), 1000W 1500VUL/1000VIEC, 0.12/0.2/2.2M Regular Cable, MC4 Connectors, Part No. 484-00252-22
The Tigo TS4-A-2F is a reliable, cost effective rapid shutdown solution that meets the latest module level shutdown requirements, including NEC 2017/2020. The TS4-A-2F is both IEC and UL certified for global acceptance. It is UL PVRSS certified for connectivity with the largest network of inverters, many of which have a built in RSS transmitter. By connecting to two modules, the TS4-A-2F reduces labor time and enables 16% fewer connections on a 14 panel string compared to single channel MLPE.

FAQs
- Can I use an RSS transmitter with the TS4-A-F?
Yes, in fact an RSS transmitter is required for the TS4-A-F or the TS4-A-2F to function. - Can I use a single solar panel on a TS4-A-2F?
Yes, the TS4-A-2F can be used as a single by connecting together (shorting) the "Channel 2" (right-hand) leads. They can also use a single TS4-A-F on the last module of an odd-length string. - Which modules can I mix with the Tigo TS4-A-2F module?
You can only mix TS4-A-2F modules with the TS4-A-F modules. TS4-A-2F modules cannot be mixed with TS4-A-O or TS4-A-S modules due to different communication architectures. - How can I learn more about installing Tigo TS4's?
Available for free, on-demand, and online is Tigo Academy's TS4 Design and Installation Course. - What is the difference between Isc and Imp rating?
- Isc (Short-Circuit Current) - Amperage rating under test conditions. Higher than Imp. Use Isc for safety ratings and testing.
- Imp (Maximum Power Current) - Amperage rating under real world load conditions. Lower than Isc. Use Imp for designing actual energy systems.
- Do I need a TAP with the TS4-A-2F?
No. You do not need a TAP with the TS4-A-F/2F modules. Instead you would use an RSS transmitter for the non-monitored platform.
