FAQs
- Can I use the GFCI and the Hardwire AC Outputs at the same time?
Yes, both AC outputs can be used at the same time as long as the operating and surge power do not exceed the inverter's rated power (in watts). - Can I stack Cotek SD Series inverters to create a split-phase system?
Yes, Cotek SD Series inverters can be stacked to double your wattage in a 120/240 split phase output. See image below taken from the User Manual.

- The datasheet shows output wattage, but what is continuous wattage?
The output power listed on the spec sheet is the continuous power output under perfect conditions (Power factor = 1). However, this will be affected by the power factor of your load. For example, LED lighting can have a power factor of around 0.9 so you take 1500VA x .9PF = 1350 watts. For this reason, you may want to consider sizing your inverter 15-20% higher than your peak load. This compensates for the variance in PF across various loads.
